Your journey starts with an airport transfer to your hotel. The mission for the day is simple: check in and relax. Save your energy; you'll need it!

This is a major transfer day. En route, you'll make a crucial stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to trek and see the White Rhinos—the only place in Uganda to see them in the wild, completing the "Big 5." After lunch, you'll continue to Murchison Falls National Park for a quick introductory game drive upon arrival.

The core safari experience begins with a morning game drive (8 am–12 pm) across the savannah, looking for lions, elephants, giraffes, and various antelope. In the afternoon (2 pm–5 pm), you'll take the famous launch trip on the Nile leading to the base of the Murchison Falls, excellent for seeing hippos, crocodiles, and water birds.

An early start for a specialized boat trip downstream to the delta (5–6 hours). This is your best chance to spot the rare and pre-historic-looking Shoebill Stork. Later, you'll visit the Top of the Falls to witness the sheer power of the Nile squeezing through a tiny gorge.

This is one of the longest, but most scenic, transfer drives as you head south-west, passing close to Lake Albert. You'll arrive at the primatologist's capital, Kibale, in the afternoon.

The main event: a 4-hour morning Chimp Walk in Kibale, widely regarded as the best place in the world for habituated chimpanzees. The afternoon offers a more relaxed walk through the Bigodi community and swamp, fantastic for smaller primates and birding.

A lovely scenic drive via Fort Portal takes you to Uganda’s most famous national park. You'll check in and head out for a late afternoon game drive to acclimatize to the new environment.

An early morning game drive on the plains is followed by the highlight: a two-hour launch trip on the Kazinga Channel in the afternoon, where you'll see massive herds of buffalo, elephants, and a huge concentration of hippos. Another short game drive rounds off the day.

Start with a challenging but rewarding 3–4 hour walk in Kyambura Gorge for a second chance at tracking chimpanzees in a unique environment. The afternoon is spent driving and searching the Ishasha sector for the legendary tree-climbing lions.

You'll conduct a morning game drive in Ishasha as you depart the park, maximizing your chances of seeing the unique lions. Then it’s a scenic (and bumpy) drive to the cooler elevations of Bwindi for evening relaxation.

The entire day is dedicated to the ultimate wildlife experience: Gorilla Tracking. After a 7:45 am pre-briefing, you will trek through the rainforest to spend one unforgettable hour with a family of mountain gorillas. Be prepared; this can take anywhere from two to eight hours!

A drive to the relatively small Lake Mburo National Park, with lunch in Mbarara. This park is unique for its lack of big cats in many areas, allowing for safe walking. You'll enjoy an afternoon village/cultural walk.

An early morning game walk gives you a fantastic, intimate perspective on the wildlife (zebra, impala, warthog). The afternoon includes a boat trip on Lake Mburo and a final game drive to soak up the savannah scenery.

A reflective morning drive back to Entebbe. The essential stop is at the Equator line for the classic photo opportunity and last-minute souvenir shopping before being dropped off at the airport for your flight home.
